Friendly, fun, and specialised care for your pet!

This is the 2nd time we have had Taryn care for our animals at our home while we were away, this time for a much longer 7 days. What a great job she did messaging us every night that everything was okay and when we returned, our home was lovely and tidy and the animals very happy !!! You could not ask for better ! Taryn is a lovely young lady to deal with.

So happy to have found Taryn - what a caring young lady and very obliging to all our requests, and of course my animals took to her straight away. I will most certainly be booking her again later in the year, and would highly recommend her services to anyone looking for peace of mind with a pet sitter for their animals.

Having known Taryn for almost a decade, I can positively attest to both her character and level of professional expertise. Taryn has a PhD from The University of Queensland, obtained while working intimately with a variety of animals as part of her laboratory research. She has worked with a range of animals, including reptiles, frogs, small mammals, insects and both marine and freshwater fish. As a result, Taryn is well-acquainted with aspects of animal health, husbandry and welfare. This expertise was parlayed into work as a professional aquarist at the Melbourne Aquarium, where she continued to work with a range of animals including seabirds, mammals and sensitive marine life. Outside of work, Taryn has always shown a great connection with animals and nature, volunteering for NGOs such as Birds Queensland, the Australian Wildlife Conservancy and the Moggill Creek Catchment Group to help with fauna surveys. She has had a variety of pets of her own, including birds, reptiles, guinea pigs and dogs, and displayed excellent levels of aptitude and care towards them. Taryn also possesses great interpersonal skills, derived from regular interactions with students as a tutor and demonstrator, and having worked in the professional fields for a significant period of time. I am in no doubt that she will flourish in any role given to her.

Taryn is a very experienced carer of pets of all kinds - fish, reptiles, frogs, rodents, birds, cats, and dogs! She is a dedicated animal lover who goes above and beyond to look after all animals to the highest standards. I have seen her take care of many people's pets over the past 5 years and she does a terrific job to make sure that all pets she looks after are kept regularly exercised, healthy, and happy.

I have known Taryn for over six years and can highly recommend her as a pet sitter. She has extensive practical experience in caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, livestock, rodents, reptiles, fish, amphibians and birds. She can handle sensitive or difficult animals confidently and professionally. Taryn is knowledgeable of animal nutrition and behaviour from her university studies and workplace experience. She has also completed the PetCloud pet sitter course and has a valid police clearance - she can be trusted to care for your pets and property.

I have known Taryn for approximaytely 10 years and have always seen that she has a 'way' with animals. Whether it be reptiles, fish, birds or small to large pets of any kind I can confidently recommend Taryns love, care and patience with animals. With an empathetic eye and a level of care usually reserved for ones owns pets, she is undoubtibly the one that I always leave as the carer of my dogs, cats and various other pets throughout the time I have known her if I am lucky enough for her to be available.
