Daren's Dogs

To Whom It May Concern, For over 10 years, Daren walked several of my dogs. In addition to dog walking, Daren would also dog sit and take care of my home when I went out of town. All of my dogs adored Daren, and I never once worried when I left them in his capable hands. Daren maintains complete control over the dogs and shows them great warmth and affection. Daren has helped us for years with a variety of dogs. Our old and frail and young and vigorous; he has been excellent with all of them. We are partial to labrador retrievers, and Daren understands that they can be big chewers, eaters, and love their exercise. He makes a real effort to keep them happy and out of trouble. Our dogs have all loved him. We cannot recommend him higher.

I should add that Daren has also been a house sitter for us on numerous occasions. He has always left things nicer than when we left, has taken care of various cats over the years, and has been extremely conscientious . I have also entrusted Daren with the occasional care and maintenance of my horses. Daren is an experienced equestrian, understands the demands of taking responsibility for the animals, and has been exceptionally helpful to me.

Daren has been dog sitting and walking our two Weimaraners since 2012 and up until he moved to Australia in 2018. He has been an invaluable care giver for our dogs; I say this in the present tense because even after he moved to Australia we asked him to come and stay with us for 3 months this summer so we had the flexibility to travel. When he lived in California Daren would come 5 days a week in the afternoons and take our dogs on a hike for about 1 1/2 hours. Our dogs LOVED their afternoon outings and would always get SO excited when he came to pick them up. Since he moved a year ago we have hired other dog walkers / sitters but no one compares to Daren in terms of his command of dogs and his willingness to take them on hikes to the woods so they can run off leash. And our dogs LOVE Daren. I often call him a dog whisperer because he has a natural ability with dogs; he assumes the alpha role with them so makes an excellent trainer and is always in command. Any family that hires Daren to work with their pets is truly fortunate.
