Experienced Animal Lover and Neonatal Kitten Rescuer

I’m Amy! I’m 24yo and a huge animal lover. I run a local animal rescue organisation, The Kitten Sanctuary which I started over three years ago - since then, I’ve handraised and adopted out hundreds of kittens to wonderful families. We specialise in orphaned neonatal kittens, and have a dedicated kitten nursery (complete with multiple critical care incubators) and a kitten adoption room for this purpose. I’ve been lucky enough to work with some amazing people in rescue, and twice a year you’ll see me hosting a presentation at Australia’s Future Vets Kids Camp. We’ve also done a few mini-episodes with Bondi Vet, which you can now find on their YouTube channel! I’ve been pet sitting for over 10 years now, primarily doing house visits and boarding in a dedicated part of my own home, separate from the foster kittens and the chaos. A portion of the funds raised go directly to The Kitten Sanctuary, to help pay for essential supplies throughout their journey with us, and the remainder enables me to dedicate my time to the little ones almost 24/7.
