Like many of us you may think of a mani-pedi, bubbles baths or a new hairdo.<\/h3>\n<p>While these are great ways to take time out for yourself let\u2019s explore how to take care of the most important asset in your pet sitting business, YOU!<\/p>\n<p>It is important to take care of yourself when you aren\u2019t working because\u00a0as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petcloud.com.au\/dog-sitting\">pet sitter<\/a> a pet owner is placing their beloved pet in your hands and trusting you to be a reliable and responsible carer while they are away.<\/p>\n<p>You probably understand the importance of taking time for yourself, but are you doing it?<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><a href=\"https:\/\/click.linksynergy.com\/fs-bin\/click?id=eL5CCBGK0BU&amp;offerid=502078.11&amp;subid=0&amp;type=4\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/ad.linksynergy.com\/fs-bin\/show?id=eL5CCBGK0BU&amp;bids=502078.11&amp;subid=0&amp;type=4&amp;gridnum=13\" alt=\"Petbarn\" border=\"0\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"color: #52c4be;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\"><strong>CARING FOR YOURSELF SO YOU CAN CARE FOR OTHERS<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Aside from the fluffy aspects of self-care, which we love too, here are some\u00a0self-care tips you may not know:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Getting rid of the excuse, reason or story that is holding you back in life and business<\/li>\n<li>Exercising every day: whether it\u2019s the gym, team sports, dancing, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petcloud.com.au\/dog-walking\">walking a dog<\/a>, or something else exercising has a range of mental and physical benefits including boosting your energy levels, making you feel happier and helping your brain health and memory.<\/li>\n<li>Eating healthy: treat yourself to good food, you\u2019re worth it.<\/li>\n<li>You are the equal of the 5 people you spend time with the most, so surround yourself with positive, loving and supportive people. Distance yourself from those who aren\u2019t.<\/li>\n<li>Forgive yourself for past mistakes and learn from them so you can grow and move forward in you life\/business.<\/li>\n<li>Reading mindset\/self-help books, and actually following through with the expert\u2019s advice<\/li>\n<li>Don\u2019t just go through the motions. Make a decision every day to be present in your life and business.<\/li>\n<li>If you are having any issues or dealing with past trauma it is ok to need help. Seek a counsellor for a chat.<\/li>\n<li>Acknowledge when you need to change something and\/or get rid of something in your life\/business that is no longer helping you personally or as a pet sitter.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Working as a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petcloud.com.au\/cat-sitting\">pet sitter<\/a> or <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petcloud.com.au\/house-sitting\">house sitter<\/a>\u00a0is an amazing job, but like any job, has its challenges which may\u00a0require you to be resourceful and adaptable.<\/p>\n<p>As a pet sitter you may often work long hours while managing your clients and their pet\u2019s needs but thankfully with <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petcloud.com.au\/\">PetCloud<\/a> you aren\u2019t alone in managing and maintaining your business.<\/p>\n<p>But on top of the feeding, watering, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.petcloud.com.au\/dog-walking\">walking<\/a>, meet and greet, replying to clients and applying for jobs you need to make time for YOU!<\/p>\n<p>Having a work-life balance is so important in any job, so don\u2019t put your health and wellbeing on the back-burner, because how can you provide the best care to pets if you aren\u2019t looking after yourself.<br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"color: #52c4be;\"><span style=\"font-size: 20px;\">SELF CARE NEEDED!
