Spring time means beautiful bright colours and sweet scents which we all love, and undoubtedly your cheeky kittens and cats will love to play with them too!<\/h3>\n

However it is important to be aware that many plants and flowers are toxic to our feline fur babies and ingesting them can cause serious health implications, from mild sickness to even death.<\/p>\n

RSPCA Victoria advises pet owners to always be cautious of your feline\u2019s flower fascination and keep them away from plants that you\u2019re not 100% sure are feline-friendly.<\/p>\n

\u201cSigns your pet might have eaten a poisonous plant can include vomiting, lethargy, drooling and seizures,\u201d they said.<\/p>\n

\u201cWhen taking your pet to the vet with suspected poisoning, it is a good idea to also take any material involved, such as\u00a0chewed-up plant matter, so your vet has a better idea of what they\u2019re treating.\u201d<\/p>\n
