This is one café that has as much love for you furry friend as you do. Conveniently located within close proximity to all things doggy including Southport’s dog park, puppy school, and groomers. Perhaps though, Parc-Bah Espresso is most famous for their dog ice- cream. Yep that’s right, your pooch can enjoy some dog friendly ice cream while you enjoy some delectable coffee and pastries or a main meal.

Established in 1990, and renovated in 2007, The Elephant Rock Café has been popular with locals and tourists for over 25 years. A restaurant and bar, serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner, The Elephant Rock Café is the perfect place for you and your pooch to eat after playing on the beach. Note that large dogs are also welcome however are asked that they choose an outside table. But with brilliant views of gorgeous Currumbin beach from their alfresco dining, why would you want to sit inside?

Cafe Catalina has a full service restaurant and outdoor bar & is adjacent to the Gold Coast Aquatic Centre at Southport – prime position! Perfect location for when lunch merges into the early evening and you want to listen to live music.
Elk Espresso (Dog Friendly Cafe)

This is a hipster/vintage styled cafe with mismatched furniture and polished concrete floors and shaded outdoor blinds for dogs. Broadbeach Locals flock to Elk for their breakfast menu and it’s also a great spot to grab some lunch whilst you enjoy the Gold Coast sunny weather.

Glenelg Public House (Dog friendly Cafe)

Glenelg Public House serves up great steaks and wine. In the beer garden are shaded big umbrellas and astroturf, and they welcome well-socialised, well-mannered dogs of all sizes.
Paddock Bakery (Dog friendly cafe)

Situated in Miami this stylish weatherboard space and garden area serve up a great breakfast. The staff are happy to welcome you and your pooch every day.
BSKT Cafe (Dog friendly cafe – with awesome loft area for humans)

The outside area is partially shaded with an awning and there are plenty of dog water bowls. You can do a yoga class upstairs in the loft, and sometimes they screen great documentaries such as “Overfed and undernourished” in the Loft area or hold workshops with a nutiritional coach. You can also have a date night with your partner on Friday and Saturday nights with meals that are health-focused and whole.

Burleigh Social have thoughtfully laid out astro turf that prevents doggy paws from burning in the hot sun, and also every table has a large umbrella for shade. Loads of healthy yummy food on the menu too.

Commune cafe has quirky vintage decor, and serves light organic meals and coffee. Dogs are welcome and there’s plenty of shade for you and them out the front of the cafe.

Interesting menu, lovely friendly, helpful staff, terrific food. This is a casual dining restaurant on the Lower Gold Coast Highway and you can sit outside in summer evenings. It is BYO but they do charge for the glasses used. The staff were really helpful and there was street parking around. There is a large covered spacious frontal cafe area that will make it easy to have a rest and a drink and something to eat while you and your dog keep out of the hot sun for a little while.

This rustic Palm Beach cafe serves delicious and beautifully presented food and take pride in making great coffee. There is a shaded outdoor area for your dog too.

There is a great little terrace overlooking Currumbin Beach where you can sit and read the paper while you eat breakfast with your dog. At night, the upstairs section hosts amazing looking dinner events booked for special occassions.
